Come and join Jaye and Noeleen for lots of learning in a fun and inspiring environment.  All are welcome although it is not suitable for beginners.  We have options for attendance whether you are a teacher, trainee or if you are a practitioner interested in exploring a deeper and stronger practice.

In this course, students will look at:

Self Enquiry & Analysis

  • What makes a good teacher
  • What is an ‘Advanced Teacher’
  • Audit of your skills and gifts
  • Empowerment – how to recognise self- limiting patterns and move on
  • Teach what you know (audit)

 Students will:

  • Be empowered to teach with a new depth and authentic awareness
  • Be invited to recognise their own unique offering to their students

Anusara® yoga – Universal Principals of Alignment™

  • Why alignment matters
  • The 5 Principals unpacked
  • Practice with peers

Students will:

  • Explore the potent principals of alignment to increase their understanding, practice and teaching of alignment based Hatha Yoga

Adjustments

  • When and why to adjust
  • Verbal vs Physical adjustment
  • The art of touch
  • Building confidence and skills that enrich the experience for the student
  • Common misalignments

Students will:

  • Learn the art of effective and confident adjustments
  • Learn when adjustments are appropriate
  • Practice with peers

Assisting & Partner work

  • Working with students as ‘demo’ model
  • Creative ways of working with partners to enhance the learning experience for your students

Students will:

  • Learn how to safely assist each other in various asana
  • Build confidence and skill to physically support others

Theming

  • What is a theme and why use one?
  • Explore ways of theming that inspire you as a teacher and that inspire your students and yoga community
  • How to skilfully weave a theme throughout class

Students will:

  • Learn to use themes to enhance and enrich their teaching

How to develop a ‘workshop’ style class

  • Teach what you know
  • Long Class or Workshop?
  • Decide on focus and develop sequence accordingly
  • What is needed – in general classes, in community, seasonally etc.
  • Creating an authentic and inspiring theme
  • Timing and pacing

Students will:

  • Recognise the key differences in teaching a workshop as opposed to class
  • Learn to be honest in their offerings
  • Learn how to create an inspiring workshop format

We offer various options for attendance:

Full 5 Day Programme including all classes/workshops and teacher sessions – €650 / €750 with 4 nights shared student accommodation

5 Day Retreat Style – Get away for 4 nights and attend the morning workshop and afternoon class daily (does not include the teacher sessions) – including 4 nights shared student accommodation in Eco Cabins – €485

Morning Workshops 2.5 hours – €65

Full Day Training –  €155

Accommodation is available in our shared self-catering eco-cabins:

1 night €35 –  2 nights €30 per night – 3+ nights €25 per night

Cancellation Policy: 

  • Cancellation of a training course 4 weeks before start date 50% to total course fee will be due
  • Cancellation of a training course less than 4 weeks before start date 100% to total course fee will be due
  • We strongly advise that clients take out travel insurance to cover any costs associated with having to cancel a holiday.
  • To avail of our Early bird option, payments must be made in full at time of booking up to given date.
