Family Eco Retreat - Go Wild in the Country
Do you want to give your kids the chance to let loose? To learn amazing skills and have great fun with kids their own age? Our rugged new family camp is taking place with Wolf Tracks - school of woodland crafts and wilderness survival. Wolf Tracks has been inspired by the teaching of skills used for everyday life by Elders from the shores of Loch Neagh and many other crafts people from around Ireland.
Our weekend retreat will include bow making from scavenged twigs and branches, wood wittling, tracking techniques and fire building.
Ard Nahoo is the ideal location for families. Settled on six acres of green countryside and far away from anything resembling traffic, kids love the opportunity to run wild in a clean and safe environment. Click Here for information about everything you can do in the area.
'Go Wild in the Country' includes...
- Shared accommodation in our Eco Cabins
- Bring and Share meal on Friday night
- Lunch and Dinner on Saturday
- Wolf Tracks workshop
- Communal fire evening
Dates: TBC
Outside of these dates, families can come and enjoy the same benefits of our child friendly location, and the activities run on a week by week basis (numbers dependant)
We like to run additional activities based on the talents of our guests. If you are willing, and knowledgable in a field that you know would be enjoyed, then let us know, and we can arrange for you to run your very own activity.
As well as the workshops run on site, there are numerous activities available within 20 miles of Ard Nahoo. Contact us
for more information on surfing, kayaking, hiking, cycling (bikes available free of charge) swimming, caving...
