Lomi Lomi Nua is the ancient art of sacred Hawaiian massage. Using the forearms rather than the hands, the Lomi Therapist can engage larger areas of the body in one sweeping motion, waking sleeping lymph fluid and easing out muscular strains. The senstation of a Lomi Lomi massage works on a deeper level than Sweedish massage, both physically and mentally. The state of calm acheived after a Lomi Lomi is a strong and beautiful sensation!
The motion of Lomi is influenced by the waves, sweeping up and over the body like the swell of the ocean. You can imagine you're laying back and being caressed by the sea, as the Hawaiian sun beams down!
