Treatments
Of all the healing arts massage is probably the oldest, having been used in some way in almost every culture in the world. Massage provides both physical and psychological benefits, producing a therapeutic effect on the soft tissues of the body and also on the body systems - muscular, nervous, respiratory, circulatory and skin.
Massage can simply be a pleasant thing to receive or it can be used to relieve stress and tension, relax tight muscles and give support during or after illness. Massage is an excellent way of stimulating the body's metabolic processes and blood circulation, speeding the release of toxins. Great for enhancing the sense of personal vitality and well being, regular massage counteracts the stresses of work and life.
At present, treatments are only available to those staying at Ard Nahoo. However, there may be appointments available for others. Call us for availability.

"I am very interested in the healing power of touch. Touch is our first sense to develop in the womb and the last to leave us in our aging years, the combination of a peaceful, natural environment and a caring therapist has a great ability to relax us, to balance the emotions and to aid the healing process." - Sinead O'Loughlin
