The 100 hour Anusara® Yoga Immersion Course is open to all practitioners and teachers interested in deepening their yoga practice. It covers all main principles and methods of the therapeutic Anusara® Yoga system and also serves as the first half of the 200 hour Anusara® Yoga Teacher Training Programme. It is a pre-requisite for participating in the 100 hour Anusara® Yoga Teacher Training Course.
Yoga is so much more than simply moving on your mat, it is a potent means for self-discovery and requires that the practitioner has courage to open up not only the physical body but the heart and mind too. In this training programme we offer space and guidance to do just that while going deeper into the practice and learning.
In this introduction to the basic philosophy, alignment principles and practice of Anusara yoga, we will study and explore:
- Universal Principles of Alignment™ – technique, lectures and asana practice
- Yoga Philosophy
- Pranayama and Meditation
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Journaling and contemplation
Applicants must have a love of yoga, an open heart and an open mind. Students are expected to work hard and will build stamina and strength.
Course takes place over a mix of 2, 3 and 5 day blocks
All days start at 9am – 6pm with the exception of Sundays when we finish at 5pm
Times are subject to change

The 100h Anusara® Yoga Immersions Course can be taken either:
- PT100I – part-time (approx. 1 weekend per month over 5 months including one day of the 5-day residential module), or
- FT100I – intensive residential (over 12 days) – see below for link.
Whereas practitioners can book onto the Immersion Course on its own, it does form part of the overall 200h Anusara® Yoga Teacher Training Programme and will therefore also have participants from this course attending.
Completion of the 100h Immersion Course is a prerequisite to participation on the 100h Teacher Training Course.
It is possible to mix and match part-time and intensive attendance (eg. book intensive residential 100h Immersion Course and then participate in the 100h Teacher Training Course part-time in order to obtain your overall 200h qualification.
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance after completing the Immersion. This will allow them to move forward and participate on the 100r Anusara Yoga Teacher Training Course, either here at Ard Nahoo or at another yoga school. Successful completion (students must demonstrate a clear understanding and ability to teach Anusara Yoga) of both enables students to register as an Ansuara Elements teacher. Further, they are able to register with Yoga Alliance in the US as a 200 hour RYT200 and also to register with Yoga Alliance Professionals in the UK.
