This course is for Ard Nahoo Yoga School graduates (2010-2017) who wish to teach Anusara Yoga and become members of the vibrant worldwide community that is Anusara Yoga School of Hatha Yoga or ASHY. Our Irish ‘Kula’ or community is growing steadily, we would love to have you join us.
While the content of the 200 hour programme that you took is very similar to the Anusara curriculum there are some key differences. This transition course provides a bridging option for students to ‘fill in the gaps’ as it where and prepare for registration and assessment. We have had our first group go through the process with great fun and success.
AT1 – Anusara®Yoga Immersion 1
Our Anusara® Yoga 100 Hour Immersion is divided into three distinct modules and Module 1 is most recommended on the transition programme.
The Immersion is an invitation to anyone who wishes to go deeper into their own practice and understanding of all things yoga.
Yoga is so much more than simply moving on your mat, it is a potent means for self-discovery and requires that the practitioner has courage to open up not only the physical body but the heart and mind too. In this training we offer space and guidance for you to do just that while going deeper into the practice and learning. Come with a beginners mind and open heart and expect to reignite your love of yoga.
In Module 1-3 of the Immersion you will be re-introduced to the basic philosophy, alignment principles and practice of Anusara yoga, we will study and explore:
Universal Principles of Alignment™ – technique, lectures and asana practice
Pranayama and Meditation
Anatomy and Physiology
Journaling and contemplation
AT2 – Transition to Anusara® Yoga Teaching
Anusara® Yoga offers students, teachers and trainees one of the best yoga teacher training opportunities in the world.
