I am an experienced Certified Anusara Yoga have been practicing and teaching yoga for 3 decades. I have reached deep into the well of yoga to find that there is enough wisdom in the tradition to keep me busy for quite a few lifetimes, and I am here to share what I have learnt and what I love with you.
We will take the time to go over the basics of being on the yoga mat. It is often the case that people try yoga for the first time and feel totally lost and put off by not being able to follow instructions or do many of the yoga poses. I will teach you clear alignment principles that will form the foundation on which to build your practice.
*What is Anusara Yoga?*
Anusara is a branch of Hatha yoga that uniquely integrates deep spiritual teachings and precise principles of alignment into the practice. At the heart of Anusara Yoga are its life-affirming principles of “Opening to Grace” and “Aligning with the Divine.”
Anusara Yoga provides students with a solid foundation in the ancient non-dual Tantric philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism. Anusara recognizes and honors its many roots in the expanding art and science of yoga over its thousands of years of evolution. Each informs the present and adds depth and diversity to the practice.
Anusara is also a community of students and teachers who are deeply connected to the heart of yoga. As such, Anusara Yoga becomes an alignment guide for our life, on and off the mat.

This course is for everyone, from complete beginners, to practitioners who want to deepen their understanding and practitioners transitioning into Anusara Yoga. If Anusara Yoga is not already your current practice, this course is a great prerequisite to the teacher training.

-The course begins on the *Monday 8th June 2020* and finishes on *Monday 13th July 2020*
-Your first class will be available to watch that day and every day for the 6 week duration. As the weeks go on the whole collection of classes will be available to do any time that suits you.
-Every Monday a new recorded class will be released.
-Every Wednesday a tutorial will be released – these will be short focused explorations
-Before the course starts you will be added to a Facebook group, where you can interact with both me and your fellow classmates. This way we grow a community where we can support each other and share the experience of learning, ask questions etc.
– Noeleen will do a 30 minute FB Live Q&A on 17th June. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions about the practice and gain clarity and confidence in any areas that you may be confused about.
– While all material is recorded and you can watch in your own time, it is probably a good idea to set specific times to practice. If not at the times we suggest, then at a set time and day(s) that works for you. If you do follow the schedule then you will be on your mat twice a week for sure and this is habit forming. You could decide to repeat the class at the weekend too
